Wylde Elves of Vyrose

Barbaric whenst compared to their Elemental cousins, the Verdan Khai voluntarily chose to walk the path of nature. Without so much as glancing back these Elves hath left both the magick and civilization of their ancestors. Now they embrace only the wylderness of Mother Vyrose.

Early Verdan Khai befriended the savage Venagu Kuranin and learned how to survive in the wylde. Since their exodus from Brettnill, they hath refined into greater Tribes and spread to all corners of the known world. Traditionally, Wylde Elves prefer forest homes similar to that of Ghalem Wood where the first Verdan Khai lived and are now buried.

Using every gift possible from the hunt, they adorn garments suited for necessity. Thick pelts furs and hides are not worn due to courtroom trends but instead to face Brendyl Wynters or the harsh climates of northern Xur icelands. Whereas southern Tribes may don loose fitting clothes made of weaves to suit the dry heat of the Semtis Sands. Tribal markings and tattoos also vary widely from viscous Venagu brands to harmonious Ghalem knotwork.

Verdan life is often on the outskirts of towns where they canst enjoy freedom yet engage in trade when needed. Offering their services as hunters, fur traders, rangers, farmers, alchemists, and scientists, Verdan Khai are welcomed in nearly every Kingdom. Some of the most renowned inventors and thinkers of our time hath been Verdan Khai. Ever striving to move further from Elemental Magicks, research is aimed as high as Astrology, Astronomy, or a broader Spectrum of naturally occurring Magicks, and as low as mortal research in the flesh and blood of the body. The Dothri Arts are widely practiced in hopes of wielding the healing powers of nature.

Such Artforms founded and practiced by Verdan Khai teach all Vyrosians that to find true progress one need only look backward. Avoiding when possible the use of Elemental Magicks to solve a problem, instead natural means are employed. Verdan Philosophers would not say the Magick is the root of corruption but instead he who wields that Magick. All too often other Races forget the tragic power of Elemental Opposition, Over Casting, dark Magicks, and simply taking without giving. Verdan Khai take it upon themselves to see to the balance of Vyrose.
