Architects of Vyrose
If ye hath a head ache at the moment surely it is due to the incessant bantering of the Rorror. Useful perhaps within their subterranean homes, that signature high pitched voice canst drive even the most composed Knight to slam his lordly face upon the table. One of Vyrose’s truly odd mysteries is the tiny Rorror.
Small in stature yet giant in attitude, even their choice of apparel makes a statement. Peculiar hats, gaudy jewelry, ridiculous patterns, and anything that shines or is said to be foreign is meticulously collected. Beneath the bizarre adornments the Rorror have soft hues for skin pigments that seemingly can change from day to day. Odd features vary from antennae to whiskers removing any thought of uniformity amongst the Race. Perhaps the only common feature is their mischievous smile.
Part Vyrosian part insect some say. Whilst others claim Rorror are evolved chameleons. One Ultek myth claims they are an expirement gone awry. The ancient Dragon Elves dubbed them “Ror Ror” as if these two words were the only explanation needed.
Cities suffer the Rorror for the simple fact these critters buzz through life spinning the wheel of industry. Whether it be expressing herbal components, mixing alchemical solutions, forging weapons or tools- if thou doth need it then the Rorror canst craft it. If a Rorror canst nay build what thou doth seek it is probably after shaking a few trees he canst find it.
Also a mystery is where the Rorror come from. Rumors spread that speak of honeycomb hives where the critters live in vast numbers. This is often thought of as paranoia however, for rarely are Rorror seen in large numbers. Yet only rarely doth chroniclers delve into the oddities of the Rorror. Anonymity is mayhap is the truest weapon the architects wield. The Races of Vyrose are too busy with their lives to pay attention to these little critters. No one ever sees the Rorror coming.
In the most unlikely of places one canst find Rorror employed as agents of various nations, due to their fierce loyalty, and their knack for sneaking about. Fast on their feet and nimble with construction, they canst find work as Courriers, Advance Scouts, Thieves, Smiths, Architects, and Craftsmen.
