Gypsies of Vyrose

Fragrances of desire demand thyne attention, for the entire room moves to the beat of the Gurnei drum. Sweet fruit flavored hootch drowns away any fear as the world becomes perfect for a single night. The Gypsies go and do as they please. Where other Races work for tomorrow’s yield, the Gurnei live for today.

Always standing out from the crowd, the Gurnei is dressed for attention. Skimpy clothes brag nearly as loud as the ballads the tribes sing. Never lacking expensive looking jewelry to brandish or sell, who would dare to check if they were fake or no? Vibrant colored scarves serve as head ware, belts, dresses, and gifts. Gypsies often forego armor or boots for a flashy vest and a pair of trusty sandals. The pack on their back houses their entire livelihood.

As free as the Fae who adore them, the Gurnei migrate between secret meeting places and towns to sell their trade- entertainment. Dancers, musicians, singers, and poets, the Gurnei bring the magick of pleasure and excitement wherever they canst find a warm fire to welcome them. A few coins for their trouble are never turned down. Looking down upon concepts such as territory or war, the Gurnei believe in a free Vyrose.

Be wary of mistaking kindness for weakness. Crossing a Gurnei is a risky endeavor. Once marked, every Gypsy from here to bumdreck Eracia will be sneaking up behind thee. Gypsy blood hunts are as feared as the mythical gypsy curse their elders can bring upon foes of the tribe. Combat among the Gurnei flows like a dance. Tet-Sharda, is perhaps more of a sword dance then a martial art. Fluidity is the way of the gypsy. There is no house an enemy canst burn and no land to be taken away. The road beneath a Gurnei’s feet is their true home.

Superstitious and enthralled by mysticism, the Gurnei are as old a people as the trees that hide their wagons. Knowledge seekers of every Race show respect to the wise women of the Gurnei and pay for visions. Ancient spells and alchemical recipes are passed down the generations. All Vyrose finds the life of the Gypsy to be alluring.
