Welcome to Avalon, the greatest Live Action Role-playing Game in the world. This page will help guide you through the New Players (Neos) section of this website and will help you organize and get to your first event.

Find the Nearest Chapter

Avalon is spreading across the East Coast at a very rapid rate. You need to first determine what chapter you would like to begin to attend. Don't worry; you can go to most any chapter with the same character, but you need to determine a home chapter. Once you have done this, you will know which staff to contact and which boards on the forum to use. You can find your nearest chapter on the Find the Nearest Chapter page.

Create a Character

To participate in an Avalon function you must have a character created, ready to play. This includes costuming and weapons. This information can be found on the Making an Avalon Character page.

Register

Because Avalon is a high intensity gaming event, you need to fill out and turn in several forms, including a BSA Venture Scout form. This information and these forms can be found on the Registration page.

Check out the Event Tips page. This is a summary of many things that you might want to think about before coming to your first event including weather preperation and costume advice.
