Avalon Code of Conduct...
Avalon players join together to share the unique and enjoyable experience of live action role-playing. In order to maintain a safe, fair, and fun game environment all players must honor the Avalon Code of Conduct. Please read the Code of Conduct carefully, paying close attention to each point. All Codes are strictly enforced.
Respect all other players and their right to have fun.
Only Avalon Game Marshals may adjudicate game debates. Consult a Game Marshal immediately with questions or debates about Avalon rules or subject matter.
Avalon Players are prohibited from making rules calls or chastising others for improper role-playing. Contact a Game Marshal immediately, should these instances occur.
Inform a Game Marshal of any intentions to leave an Avalon function, or to go out of game play during an event, before its end.
Physical body contact during combat is restricted to Avalon-safe weapons ONLY!
Only legal targets may be hit; legal targets include the entire body EXCEPT FOR the head, neck, weapon hand/wrist, and groin.
Only hit hard enough to let opponents know they have been hit; pull your blows. Using force to overbear an opponent is illegal.
Use or possession of alcohol, illegal drugs, and pornographic materials are strictly prohibited.
Smoking follows all state and campground laws, corresponding to the location of the Avalon function (i.e., permitted for players 18+ when located at least 15ft outside of any building). Extinguish all cigarette butts and place in a trash receptacle (pipes are more in-period & leave no trash).
Out of Character physical abuse, discrimination, or verbal abuse is not tolerated.
Show respect toward all property and possessions. Damage or theft of Out of Character property is not tolerated.
Maintain separate sleeping space and personal space; cohabitation is prohibited.
Respect the authority of all Avalon Game Staff.
This Code of Conduct is to be followed at all Avalon functions; participating in any Avalon function indicates agreement to this Code of Conduct. Breaking the Code of Conduct may result in immediate dismissal from any Avalon function.
